Alice Marie Rapp

Alice Marie Rapp, 85, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Alice was born April 2, 1938, in Watson Station, Ohio, to Paul Fred and Ellen Marie (Lorentz) Oakleaf. Alice grew up in Ohio and married F. Dale Rapp on Aug. 27, 1955, in Richmond, Indiana. She worked as a homemaker and cleaned houses for other people. She moved from Waverly, Ohio, to Lookeba, Oklahoma, in Dec., 1998.

She worked as manager of Midway. Alice was very creative and enjoyed gardening, quilting, and painting among other crafts. She was a member of Binger Congregational Church.

Alice is survived by four children, James Rapp and wife Deb of Bettsville, Chuck Rapp and wife Kelly of Green Springs, Ken Rapp and wife Christine of Fort Seneca, and Lorri Barnes and husband Roger of Clinton, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Donna Decker and husband Fred of Florida, Barb Berger of Fremont, and Paul Oakleaf and wife Mary Kay of Green Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ellen Oakleaf; husband, Dale Rapp; and three siblings, Richard Oakleaf, Carol Tuckerman, and Joan Jackson.

Alice's services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Hinton Turner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Burial will be at Lookeba Cemetery, Lookeba, Oklahoma.
