Anna Goshe

Anna Goshe, 83, of Carey, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by those she loved.

Anna was born in Kansas, Ohio, September 2, 1941, to the late Melvin and Alta (Hammer) Saum. She married the love of her life, Thomas Goshe, September 3, 1966, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, and he survives after 58 years of marriage. Anna is also survived by her children, Lynette McCullough, Wendy (Ed) Blott, Penny (Trevor)Niederkohr, Chad (Jenny) Goshe, Kelly (Lee) Cleland, and Rodney Goshe; grandchildren, Olivia (Caelum), Whitney (John), Autumn, Ashlei, Ava, Brady, Collin, Kennedy, Briella, Gracie, Reese and Marlie; great-grandchildren, Blaze and Aliyah; and siblings, Mary Ann Ley, Connie (Donald) Bouillon and Berneita Saum.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Kathleen (Royal) Smith, Kenny Saum, and John Berneil Saum; and a brother-in-law, Gene Ley.

Anna was a 1960 graduate of Jackson-Liberty High School. She was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Frenchtown and later of All Saints Church in New Riegel following the parish's merger. Anna was a proud homemaker and worked at Walmart on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay, retiring after 25 years of service. Anna and Tom enjoyed square dancing in their younger years. Anna was a tremendous cook and baker. She was known for her apple dumplings. Anna enjoyed going to garage sales and always trying to find a bargain. She was very artistic and was an excellent seamstress. She loved working in her garden, always having everything looking immaculate. Anna had a heart of gold. She loved her family dearly, always striving for them to do their best and always being supportive of their life. She had a big heart and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

A time to gather and celebrate Anna's life will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey. Anna's Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at All Saints Church, 39 N. Perry St., New Riegel, Ohio, 44853, with the Rev. Tim Kummerer, Celebrant.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made in Anna's honor to Bridge Hospice or Seneca County Cancer Society.
