Anthony SanGregory Obituary
Anthony C. "Tony" SanGregory, 85, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born July 13, 1938, in Tiffin, to Salvatore and Dominica (Famulare) SanGregory. He married Jacqueline A. Rex on April 27, 1957.
Tony's survivors include his wife, Jacqueline A. SanGregory of Tiffin; sons, Steve (Mary Beth) SanGregory of Toledo, Joe SanGregory of Tiffin, and Matt (Teresa) SanGregory of Upper Sandusky; daughter, Michelle "Shel" (Joe) Kramer of Tiffin; brother, John (Marge) SanGregory of Bellevue; sisters, Christina SanGregory and Lucy Borer, both of Tiffin; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin son, Mark SanGregory; brother, Frank SanGregory; and one great-grandchild.
Tony was a 1956 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. He served as Tiffin City Engineer from 1978 until he retired in 1994. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin Elks #94, AmVets Post 48, was State Chairperson of Ducks Unlimited, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to Las Vegas, and singing karaoke at casinos. He was a service-minded, hard-working man who would do anything for a friend in need.
Visitation for friends and family will be 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-2424. A luncheon will follow from 1-3 p.m. at the AmVets.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited and Seneca County Humane Society.
