Barbara M. Corbin

Barbara M. Corbin, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1940, to Theodore L. and M. Madelon "Dolly" (Ward) Tucker. On Sept. 10, 1961, she married Frederick "Fred" E. Corbin.

Barbara is survived by her brother, Timothy (Angie) Tucker of Bellevue; sisters-in-law, Judith Tucker of Fremont, Debra (Robert) Raico of Mentor; nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Brian) Lombard, Tatum (Lucas) Poggiali, Tyler (Macy) Tucker, Trent (Betty) Tucker, Tia Tucker, Kim (Tony) Rohrs, Michael (Deb) Preston, and Mark (Leah) Raico.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Thomas Tucker; sister-in-law, Sandra Preston; and nephew, Brian Raico.

Barb grew up in Carey. She loved and treated everyone like family. Having no children of their own, Fred and Barb regarded nieces, nephews, and cousins as their own, creating many special memories with them. An avid golfer, Barb was a member of the Mohawk Country Club and won several women's championships. Along with her husband, Barb co-owned Corbin Corporation and enjoyed traveling and trips on the company plane. She enjoyed time at Lake Erie on their boat and making chocolate as Christmas gifts. She loved her many pets through the years, especially her dog, Peppy, and cat, Kobe. Barb was community oriented and believed in shopping local. She loved her Tiffin Community.

Her memorial service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-2424 with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating. Barbara's burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey at a later date.

Friends may visit with the family at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, until the time of the service at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.
