Barbara Eborg Obituary
Barbara Sue "Barb" Eborg, 72, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024.
She was born Nov. 6, 1951, in Tiffin, to John and Martha E. (Borer) Kirchner.
Barb's survivors include her daughter, Misty Eborg of West Virginia; sister, Jane (Dennis) Stacy of Old Fort; three brothers, John (Kay) Kirchner of Austin, Texas, Michael (Audrey) Kirchner of Highland Heights, and Jim (Faye) Kirchner of Concord Twp.; and brother-in-law, Jim (Lynn) Bine of Perrysburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Karen Bine; and adopted daughter, Jessica Eborg.
Barb was a 1970 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and received her Bachelor's degree in Education from University of Toledo. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Tiffin and was a retired corrections officer for Seneca County Jail. She loved traveling and spending time with her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Barb loved a good picnic and a friendly game of sports afterward!
Barb's funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Pastor Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation for friends and family will be 9-10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice of Fremont.
