Barbara's survivors include her daughters, Kimberley (James) Maxwell Sr. of Tiffin, Kay (Jim) Linthicum of Pickerington, Kelley (Edwin) Daniel of Hilliard, and Kristy (David) Saul of The Villages, Florida; son, Kenneth H. Egbert Jr. of Tiffin; brother, David (Joyce) Lather of Tiffin; sister, Lucille Lather of Dublin; grandchildren, Jodi (Jeff Daniel) Zirger, James (Kierstyn) Maxwell Jr., Michelle (Steven) Lee, Bryan (Beth) Linthicum, Todd (Leah) Linthicum, Lukas (Stephanie) Daniel, Erin (Will) Pearson, Clay (Alyssa) Daniel, Joy (Joe) Lanham, Jon DeBarbrie, Andrea Smith, Austin Smith, Kirsten Egbert, and Faith Egbert; and great-grandchildren, Kamren, Alaina, and Erica Zirger, Lola and Dylan Maxwell, Carter and Max Lee, Eleanor Linthicum, Wyatt Daniel, Victor Pearson, and Kameron, Degan, and Elara Daniel.

Barbara was a 1953 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and married her high school sweetheart. She worked part-time at her father's diner, Hamburg Inn, as a telephone operator at Ohio Bell, was a receptionist at Acme Electric Co., and was Mail Clerk at Seneca County Court House. Barbara was a member of Family of Faith Lutheran Church, Order of Eastern Star, Y-Wives, Do Nothing Club, and various Bridge clubs. She loved Ohio State football. At the OSU vs. Toledo game last fall, she witnessed her oldest great grandchild, Kamren Zirger, "Dot-the-I" in the OSU band. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting, playing Bridge, gardening, traveling to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, British Isles, Panama, Mexico, and throughout the United States, and spending time on their boat, the "Barbie K," at Lake Erie.

Above all else, Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Randall Residence of Tiffin and Promedica Hospice for their loving care.
