Barbara Ann Magers

Barbara A. Magers, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, December 7, 2025, at her home.

She was born on August 4, 1942, to Riley and Dorothy (Detterman) Cook and was raised by her paternal grandparents, George and Goldie Cook. On July 25, 1969, she married David Magers, and he survives.

Also surviving are her sons, Gary (Deanna "Dee Dee") Zahn of Fostoria and Michael Magers of Marion; daughters, Jodi (Jerry) Salyer of Tiffin, Cara Gaines of Bellefontaine, and Laura Turbeville of Homosassa, Florida; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Barb was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, decorating, shopping, and home renovations. She also loved her many pets she had through the years. She was stubborn and determined, but also very giving and wore her heart on her sleeve.

Her funeral service and burial will be private.
