Barbara Matthews Obituary
Barbara A. Matthews, 66, of Tiffin, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, at her residence.
Barb was born in Peoria, Illinois, on March 7, 1956, to the late William Barnell and Sue (Whitley) Morrow. She married Donn Matthews in Tiffin on April 13, 1974, and he survives in Tiffin.
Survivors include her children, Shirley (James) Parrott Copus of Melmore and Jeanna (Erie) Thomas of Hicksville; two sons-in-law, John Parrott Sr. and Kenny Knott Sr., both of Tiffin; daughter-in-law, Shannon Knott of Tiffin; foster brother, Cory Kinn; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Barnwell of Marion; and two sisters, Julie Fox and Kathy Cummings, both of Tiffin.
Barb was a retired volunteer EMT. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, cooking, crafts, sewing, traveling, and hugging her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also received an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Bud Lawrence; son, Harold Matthews; and daughter, Dorothy Knott.
Barbara's funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, with James "Freebird" Copus officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, July 11, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday at Fairmont Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Engle-Shook Funeral Home.

Its hard to believe that grandma is really gone she had touched so many lives and im greatful every day that I got to be a part of grandmas life may she rest in peace now with dad and anut dork sending my condolences and love
