Benjamin Lash Obituary
Benjamin M. Lash, 83, of Brownstown Township, Michigan, passed away at 6:22 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Benjamin was born March 21, 1939, in West Newton, Pennsylvania, to the late Benjamin T. and Martha Violet (Maxwell) Lash. He married Lynn (Solomon) on Sept. 12, 1970, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Tiffin.
Benjamin's survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lynn of Brownstown, Michigan; sister, Gretchen Estreicher; niece, Meridith Grommon; nephews, Benjamin J. Estreicher, Shawn Bintz, Aaron Solomon, and Jason Solomon; great-nieces, Gracie and Taylor Solomon, and Alexis Grommon; and great nephews, Walker Keller and Riley Solomon.
Benjamin worked for over 50 years in corporate valuation consulting. Many of those years were in Europe. He enjoyed living and traveling in Canada and Europe with his wife. At home, Benjamin was a great reader.
Benjamin's funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, with Pastor Heidi Reinker officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow services Tuesday at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, Tiffin. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.

Dear Lynn. We were so sorry to hear of Ben´s passing. Unfortunately we were flying home and could not come in person. We fondly remember the time we spent with you at the last reunion and, of course, bumping into you at the same hotel in Italy.
