Bennie Ray Hall

Bennie Ray Hall, 90, of Tiffin, passed away at 4:09 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.

Ray was born April 9, 1932, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, to the late Ervin and Edna (Adams) Hall. He married Yvonne (Tackett) in Whitesburg, Kentucky, on Nov. 3, 1951, and she preceded him in death June 22, 2018.

Survivors include his two sons, Glenn Hall of Tiffin and Kyle Hall of Glendale, Arizona; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Ray retired from Clyde Whirlpool after 40 years and was a member of Eighth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church, Tiffin. Ray enjoyed the Kentucky Wildcats and muscle cars, especially a 1969 Camaro.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Yvonne; four brothers, Dewey, Donald, Lenville, and Paul Hall; and four sisters, Julie Lawson, Alpha Hatton, Sillar Hatton-Montgomery, and Jo Maksemetz.

Ray's funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, with the Rev. Paul Tyree officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be follow the services Tuesday at Seneca Memory Gardens.
