Beverly Jacqueline Kirby

Beverly Jacqueline Kirby, 87, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at her residence.

Beverly was born January 31, 1939, in Tiffin, to the late Howard and Evelyn (Carver) Jarvis. Beverly married Robert E. Kirby, April 6, 1954, in Tiffin, and he preceded her in death May 27, 2022.

Beverly is survived by her children, Scott (Kim) Kirby of Florida, Vickie (Tom) Heck of Tiffin, Steve Kirby, Gary (Roya) Kirby of Arizona and Kimberly (Chris) Johnson of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Arthur Jarvis; and a brother, Bill Hodges.

Beverly worked at Tiffin State Hospital and then Tiffin Developmental Center from 1970 until 2000. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Beverly was an avid reader, a fantastic southern cook, and enjoyed traveling to the mountain areas of southern Ohio and West Virginia. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services for Beverly will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with the Rev. Karsten Snitker officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:30 p.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services Friday at Fairmont Cemetery.
