Bobby Lee Archer Sr.

Bobby "Bob" Lee Archer, Sr., 87, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, August 1, 2025, at his home.

He was born June 22, 1938, to Roy Lee and Tienee Maude (Hurt) Archer in McKenzie, Tennessee. On September 29, 1962, he married Constance "Connie" Longo.

Bob is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Robert (Jennifer) Archer of Ida, Michigan, and James Archer of Tiffin; daughters, Shelly (Jeff) Bogner of New Riegel and Milissa (Jeff) Hoover of Findlay; sister, Mary Ellen Gunn; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Alexander and Larry Noble; sisters, Betty Lou Haywood, Martha Birmingham, and Joanne Green; and brother-in-law, James Haywood.

Bob was a volunteer at Our Lady of the Pines in Fremont and was a supervisor at Webster for 40 years. He was a sports fan and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and watching baseball. He had a great sense of humor, and he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.

Friends may visit with family from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Military Honors will take place at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

His Funeral Mass will be at noon Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Reverend Matthew Rader officiating.

Burial will take place at a later date in the parish cemetery.
