Brenda J. Auble

Brenda J. Auble, 73, of Bloomville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at her home.

Brenda was born May 15, 1950, in Fostoria, to John and Betty Wilson. She married David O. Auble Sr. on Nov. 29, 1974, in Fostoria.

Brenda's survivors include her children, John (Roberta) Auble of Toledo, Allen (Bridget) Auble of Bloomville, David (Sunny) Auble Jr. of Bloomville, and Kelly Auble of Maumee; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Auble of Bloomville; and three brothers, Scott (Dianna) Wilson of Fostoria, James (Ellen) Wilson of San Diego, California, and Jack Wilson of Pensacola, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Sr.; infant son, Mikey; and parents, John and Betty.

Brenda was a 1968 graduate of Fostoria High School. Upon graduation, she went to work at Copeland in Fostoria where she met David, her beloved husband of 46 years. They soon moved to Bloomville to raise their four children, where she remained until her death.

Brenda was a testament to perseverance. She battled numerous health issues, ranging from minor to major, for almost 40 years, yet she never complained. She fought each and every obstacle and setback, meeting each challenge head on with grit and determination, getting up each day and taking pride in still caring for her yard and household.

However, Brenda's biggest love was for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was their biggest fan. She attended every event she could, no matter the event or the location. Brenda was also known as a "second Mom" to many of her children's friends. Anyone who knew Brenda would agree that she was one of the kindest individuals they would ever meet.

Brenda was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tiffin, where she was very active.

Brenda's funeral will be 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church in Tiffin. There will be a private family burial at Farewell Retreat Cemetery, Republic.
