Brian Lane Obituary

Brian John Lane

Brian John Lane, 46, of Bloomville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, in Georgetown, Texas, with family after a hard fought battle with cancer.

He was born March 18, 1977, in Middleburg Heights, to Margaret and David Lane.

He is survived by three daughters, Ashlynne (Chad) Cassidy of Bascom, and Emma and Nora Lane, both of Bloomville; parents; three brothers, Dan (Kristin), Patrick, and Devin (Christina) Lane; and several important nieces and nephews.

Brian was a graduate of Berea High School and later Tiffin University where he played football. Brian was employed with Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility, a division of Ohio Department of Youth Services in Massillon, where he was a Major. Brian was a sports fan and his favorite teams to watch were the Indians, Bears, and Notre Dame football. Some of Brian's fondest sports memories were coaching his daughters' little league softball teams and watching them play.

Brian's daughters will be hosting a celebration of life from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Bloomville Community Center.
