Carlton Ramirez Obituary
Carlton E. Ramirez, 73, of Arlington, died Friday, July 7, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
He was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Tiffin, the son of Pedro Ramirez and Marge Groman. He married Judy (Nye) Ramirez on June 3, 1994, and she survives in Arlington.
Carlton's survivors also include three sons, Christopher Ramirez of Tiffin, Chad (Misty) Ramirez of Tiffin, and Craig (Carly) Ramirez of Fostoria; daughter, Candace Hodkinson of Tiffin; brother, Greg (Bonnie) Ramirez of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Joshua Nye; two brothers, Charles and Christopher Ramirez; and two sisters, Evelyn Main and Charlene Gosche.
Carlton proudly served in U.S. Marine Corps. He retired in 2012 from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, where he served as a millwright. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Carlton's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay. Full military rites will be accorded by Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
