Carol A. Hossler

Carol A. Hossler, 86, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Tiffin Rehabilitation.

Carol was born Dec. 23, 1937, in Tiffin, to Bernard and Ellen (Borer) Fleck. She married Ned Hossler on July 13, 1957, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin.

Carol's other survivors include her children, Lynne (Michael) O'Brien of Huron and Gary (Dora) Hossler of Tiffin; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bernadette Smith of Tiffin and Sue Hart of Florida.

Carol retired from Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital as a plant engineering secretary. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and 1955 Tiffin Calvert High School graduate. She enjoyed collecting antiques and primitives, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and watching their sporting events.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Madeline Staib-Anderson.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Southern Care Hospice.
