Carol E. Reinhart

Carol E. Reinhart (nee Rinebold), 90, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Seneca County.

She was born August 23, 1935, in Fostoria, to the late Carl V. and Violet E (Stephens) Rinebold. She married Ronald F. Reinhart, June 14, 1958, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Alvada. She is survived by two sons, Gregory A. (Becky) of South Lebanon and Bryan J. (Tawnya) of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Kyle, Colleen, Ellen, William, Katey and Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage and her son, Scott Reinhart.

Carol was a 1953 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. She maintained an extensive network of close friends across all generations, and many regarded her as a second mother, as she was always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand to those in need. She was an avid fan of playing cards and board games, and was very active in her church, Christ Church at Tiffin, and numerous social clubs. She especially enjoyed being a member of multiple bridge clubs, antique clubs, Penthouse Club and Allen Eiry Senior Center. Carol had a passion for travel and created many cherished memories both at home and abroad. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, she will be remembered for her joyful laugh. Though she was not fond of cooking, she was always happy to gather with friends and family to enjoy meals at her favorite local restaurants.

Family will receive visitors from 4-6 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2026, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Her funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Christ Church at Tiffin, 2586 US-224, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, with Pastor Andy Timm officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
