Cathryn Biller Obituary

Cathryn (Montz) Biller

Cathryn Biller, 85, was called to her heavenly home Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022.

She was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Tiffin, to Herbert and Mildred (Feagles) Montz. She attended Columbian High School in Tiffin. She married John C. Creeger from Bascom, who preceded her to Heaven in 1963.

After the death of John, she moved to Port Clinton and married Eugene R. Biller, eventually moving to Hudson, Florida, for their retirement years. Cathryn retired from Walmart in Port Clinton. She was known to family as Cathryn and her friends knew her as Cathy. Her family was the most important part of her life. She and her twin sister, Carolyn, worked together on many crafts and displayed their works at the Heritage Festival in Tiffin for 15 years in addition to many other craft fairs. They had a special bond to the point that when they would get together for the day, they would be matching in what they were wearing for the day and hadn't even spoke to each beforehand. She enjoyed crafting, bowling, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, puzzle books, and watching and feeding the birds.

She has been reunited with her husband, Eugene of 58 years, who preceded her to Heaven on Oct. 12, 2022. She will be remembered, missed, and loved always by her family.

Cathryn is survived by her children, Karen Van Demark (Scott Smith), Gregory (Theresa) Creeger, Cheryl (Ted) Overmyer, and Lori (Greg) Colvin; grandchildren, Johnathan McCleary, Stephanie (Brian) Jess, Christopher (Rebecca) Creeger, Alexander (Kylie) Creeger, Nicholas Creeger, and Holly Creeger; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abigail Lenke, and Mason Jess; two sisters, Carolyn (Donald) Wellman, of Tiffin and Frances Garn of New Port Richey, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Marylee Creeger of Tiffin and Lisa (Mike) Perry of Mt. Vernon; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Susan) Creeger of Tampa, Florida; two stepsons, Eugene Biller of Tampa, Florida, and Tom (Sherry) Biller of Lakeland, Florida; many stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James, Donald, William, and Robert; sisters, Doris, Marian, Helen, and Betty; infant grandson, Jennings Andrew McCleary; stepdaughter, Crystal Cline; two stepgrandsons; one stepgreat-granddaughter; stepgreat-great-grandson; and many of her in-laws.

A special thank you to her nephew, Paul Garn, and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Creeger, for the all the visits to the hospital and care centers and the calls made home to family.

Cathryn and Eugene's interment will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at the National Cemetery for Veterans in Bushnell, Florida. Arrangements have been entrusted to Michels and Lundquist Funeral Home in New Port Richey, Florida.
