Cathy Williams Obituary
Cathy Jo Williams, 71, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at ProMedica Fostoria Hospital. She was born September 17, 1953, in Fostoria to Paul Jesse & Viola Mae (Newbold) Basehore. She married Michael P. Williams on July 28, 1973 in Fostoria.
Surviving is husband, Michael P. Williams of Fostoria; sons, Jesse (Crystal) Williams of Columbus, Brian Williams of Lucky, and Michael Williams of Findlay; grandchildren, Ben, Kaylee and Jackson.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Cindy Woessner and Marcia Snyder.
Cathy retired after a career as a RN. She was a 1971 graduate of Fostoria High School. She enjoyed Mahjong and was known for caring and helping others.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or a Humane Society of the donor's choice.

My sympathies to Cathy's family. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I worked with Cathy at Fostoria Hospital and St Catherine's and gave the boys piano lessons. I will always remember her as a very caring person.
