Charles “Charley” P. Waldrop, age 67 of Rogersville, AL passed away Saturday January 31, 2026 at home after an extended illness. He was a native of Lauderdale Co, AL, a delivery driver for The Times Daily, and of the Church of Christ faith. Funeral Services will be held at Lexington Church of Christ on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Danny Pettus and Brian Jarrett will be officiating. Burial will follow in Pettus Cemetery . Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Lexington Church of Christ.

Wife- Marie Shelton Waldrop Rogersville, AL
1-Daughter- Miranda Waldrop Shadrick (Jacob) Rogersville, AL
Mother- Jean Waldrop Lexington, AL
Brother- Rick Waldrop (Marsha) Mt. Juliet, TN
Brother in law- Barry Shelton (Robin) Rogersville, AL
3-Grandsons- John Tollie Shadrick, Dolton Waldrop Shadrick
& Matthew Bryant Shadrick
Several Nieces & Nephews Also Survive

Father- Richard Waldrop Sr.
Favorite Neighbor (who was also his sister-in-law) Jean Kelley

Charley was a classmate and friend of mine. I ran into him about a year ago, after not having seen him in quite some time, we talked for about 30 minutesone of those times and friends that no matter how long it had been, was just like old times he was a good man he will be missedprayers for comfort for his family
