Charlotte C. Smith

Charlotte C. Smith, 78, of Tiffin, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, in the emergency room at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.

She was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Bucyrus, to Delwyn and Helen (Farrell) Smith.

Charlotte is survived by many cousins and was extremely close to Becky (Greg) Leopold of Tiffin.

Charlotte was a 1963 graduate of Bucyrus High School and earned an associate degree from Tiffin University. She lived in the Tiffin area for the last 30 years.

Charlotte was known to be a very kind, loving, polite, and considerate lady. McDonald's was her favorite eating place, where she enjoyed the cheeseburger combo meal. Gatherings with family at holiday meals and visits from extended family were especially enjoyable times.

She enjoyed watching "The Talk" on television and spending time at the "Health Club" at The Willows, where she spent time riding the bike.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, until the time of Charlotte's funeral at 11 a.m. at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio, 44820. Pastor Clayton Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
