Cheryl A. Strausbaugh

Cheryl A. Strausbaugh, 79, of McCutchenville, passed away Monday afternoon, March 27, 2023, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.

She was born Oct. 22, 1943, in Tymochtee, Ohio, to Charles and Edith (Yambert) Miller. She married Dean Strausbaugh on March 20, 1966.

Cheryl's survivors include her husband, Dean Strausbaugh of McCutchenville; son, Dusty (Amy Johnson) Strausbaugh of McCutchenville; daughters, Angie Clouse of Tiffin, Jennifer (Frank) Day of Upper Sandusky, and Megan (Eric) Brickman of Tiffin; brother, Denny (Karen) Miller of Tiffin; and eight grandchildren, Stacy (Jacob) Mowery, Hunter Clouse, Sarah Day, Brayden Brickman, Brody Brickman, Ryan Day, Bryler Brickman, and Brynn Brickman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Don Miller and Ned Miller; and twin grandsons, Brady and Caleb Brickman.

Cheryl was a 1961 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. She was a secretary at East Jr. High School until the birth of her first child. She was co-owner of Klay Tire & Oil with her husband, Dean, was a homemaker, and loved babysitting her grandchildren. Cheryl was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star in Upper Sandusky, and enjoyed getting together with her classmates at their monthly luncheons, spending time at the cabin in the Upper Peninsula, and watching her grandkids sporting events. Most of all, Cheryl was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Cheryl's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2023, at Faith United Methodist Church, 75 North Sandusky Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, with the Rev. Tom Everett officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville.

Visitation with family will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-2424, and 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice or Hopewell-Loudon Athletic Boosters.
