Christy Roberts Obituary
Christy Charlton Roberts (Nye), 50, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, at National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, following a brief illness.
Christy was born Oct. 24, 1972, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas D. and Margaret "Peggy" Charlton of East Liverpool. She spent most of her lifetime living in this area before moving to the Tiffin/Forest area seven years ago. Christine worked as a Residential Title Processor with Mid-American Title Company.
Christine loved to camp, fish, kayak, go 4-wheeling, hike, and garden, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she leaves behind her life companion, Larry R. Nye at home; daughter, Kala Haught, and her husband, Chip, of East Liverpool; son, Cody Nye of Forest; two grandsons, Pierson and Porter; sister, Tiffany Sayre of Canal Winchester, Ohio; brother, Ben Charlton, and his wife, Ashley, of Cincinnati; one niece; and two nephews.
Friends may visit the family 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Ian Leyda of Longs Run Trinity Church will officiate Christy's funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at the funeral home.
Immediately following the service, family and friends will gather at Dawson Family Center.
