Coleen Roth Obituary

Coleen Ruth (Kryder) Roth, 90, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed into eternity on March 3, 2026, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born at home in Ft. Wayne, IN on August 1, 1934, to Russel and Naomi Kryder.

Coleen was a graduate of New Haven High School class of 1953. She married the love of her life, Bob Roth, on March 27, 1954, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Ft. Wayne. They were married for 71 years and raised two daughters.

Coleen was a wonderful homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Star Homes, Inc. for 32 years, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed traveling and just being with Bob.

Anything they did together was her joy. She was a member of The Chapel, Ft. Wayne, IN.

She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, whom she dearly loved, Melanie, Katie, Jenni & Josh. She loved watching them grow up and have families of their own. She invested much of her time, wisdom and encouragement into their lives.

Her highest calling was to be a follower of Christ, faithful and loving wife to Bob and dedicated, caring mother to her daughters and their families. Her love and care for others carried her through life; it was what gave her life purpose. She was a blessing to her family, friends and all who knew her. Whatever she did, she worked at it with her whole heart, as unto the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, daughters, Debra (Jay) Yoder, Pamela (Roger) Schwartz, four grandchildren, Melanie (Yoder) Gall, Kathryn (Yoder)Maurizi, Jennifer (Schwartz) Jackson, Joshua Schwartz and 9 great-grandchildren. At Coleen's request, a private dinner will be held for her family at a later date.
