Coy Ritchie Obituary
Coy E. Ritchie, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday morning, May 30, 2024.
He was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Hazard, Kentucky, to Jasper and Freda (Combs) Ritchie. He married Carol Bonnell on June 24, 1969.
Coy's survivors include his wife, Carol Ritchie of Tiffin; daughters, Elaine (Dan) Cook, Doreen (Michael) Wuescher, and Lori (Tony) Miller, all of Tiffin; brother, Jack Ritchie of Tiffin; sisters, Elaine Hurt of Tiffin and Bess (Paul) Tyree of Green Springs; and five grandchildren, Kaden, Nolan, Weston, Noah, and Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby Ritchie, Magoo Ritchie, and Jay Ritchie; and sister, Mint Pryor.
Coy worked at General Electric until their closing and then worked at Whirlpool in Clyde for over 10 years. He was a member of Adams Twp. Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers and University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball, trips to the Amish Country, being at home, spending time with his grandchildren and watching their sporting events, and he loved his dogs.
Coy's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-2424, with his brother-in-law, the Rev. Paul Tyree, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.
Visitation for friends and family will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to SouthernCare Hospice, Humane Society of Seneca County, or Shriner's Children Hospital.
