Dan Walters Obituary

Dan C. Walters

Dan C. Walters, 84, of Fremont, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

He was born Aug. 6, 1939, in Washington Township, to Zeno and Ruth (Moll) Walters.

He married Marjorie (Fox) Walters on Nov. 20, 1959, at the former Faith Lutheran Church, and she preceded him in death Sept. 22, 2021. Dan was a farmer and self-employed diesel mechanic. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida, countless hours driving throughout Ohio road farming, driving through tractor lots, and attending S.C.R.A.P. every fall.

Left to cherish his memory is a son, Dan F. (Michelle) Walters of Fostoria; daughter, Ann (Michael) Pfeiffer-Nagy of Oak Harbor; two grandchildren, Stephen R. (Nicole) Pfeiffer and Amanda R. Pfeiffer; three stepgrandchildren, Zachary (Crystal) Dunn, Eric Steinmetz, and Rebecca (Brenton Pettry) Steinmetz; three great-grandchildren, Cole Shondell, Tyler Shondell, and Chase Pfeiffer; and five stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin Kramer, Victoria Kramer, Devin Tolbolt, AJ Mangold, and Shelby Dunn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two sisters, Virginia (Dan) Secrist and Jeannie LeJuene.

To honor Dan's wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.
