Danette Jo Kopp

Danette Jo Kopp, 64, of Tiffin, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Mercy - Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born September 21, 1960, in Tiffin to Raymond and Evelyn (Schock) Cooley.

She married Robert Sanchez on May 16, 1980, in Hawaii, but they later divorced. She married Timothy Kopp on August 26, 1995, in Tiffin, but they also divorced.

Survivors include a son, Eric Sanchez of Tiffin, Elaine (Daniel) Brenner of Livonia, Michigan, Elizabeth (Justin) Sauber of Hilliard, and Kennedie Kopp of Memphis, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Dean (Frieda) Cooley of Tiffin; three sisters, Debra (Rudy) Reddish of Marblehead, Deanna White, and Denise (Brad) Arnold, of Tiffin.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Michael Cooley; and a brother-in-law, Gary White.

Danette was a 1978 Columbian High School graduate. She served in the United States Army, active duty from 1978 to 1982, and then in the Reserves from 1982 to 1984, when she was honorably discharged. She was employed at Fry Foods in the office for over 20 years.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883. (419)447-3113.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. United Veteran's Council of Seneca County will perform Military Rites at the conclusion of the funeral.
