Daniel Ambrose Obituary
Daniel P. "Dan" Ambrose, 65, of Greenwich, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
Dan was born Feb. 5, 1958, in Floriana, Malta, to Franklin L. and Sara (Paradiso) Ambrose. He was married to Patti (Young) for 39 years and she survives in Crestline.
Dan's other survivors include his children, Nicole Kauffman of Port Clinton, Danny Ambrose Jr. of Burgoon, Logan Ambrose of Burgoon, and Keaton Ambrose of Greenwich; seven grandchildren, Gabe, Steven, Ethan, Emaly, Elissa, Sarah, and Landon; two great-grandchildren, Stella and Sterling and two more on the way this spring; and two brothers, Michael Ambrose of Columbus and Frank Ambrose of Florida.
Dan retired from Rexam Beverage Can in Fremont and attended Beit El Elyon in Crestline. He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, and just being outside. Dan was a 1976 Tiffin Calvert High School graduate and U.S. Navy veteran.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Ambrose; and sister, Patricia Ambrose.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, until the time of Dan's funeral at 11 a.m. at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, with Rabbi Robert Bauer officiating. Burial will follow services Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery with military rites being rendered by United Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Engle-Shook Funeral Home, 135 N. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883.

Going to miss you, Dan. I have a lot of great memories from grade school through high school and in our 20s. Glad we texted recently to get back in touch. Was fun hanging out with the Ambrose family. Spud and Sarah Ambrose had an action packed house thanks to their 5 kids. RIP....until we meet again, my friend.
