Daniel R. Bush

Daniel R. Bush, 80, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, February 28, 2025, at Ottawa County Riverview Manor, Oak Harbor.

He was born November 5, 1944, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to Royal E. and Betty R. (Lambert) Bush. On March 27, 1969, he married Jane Kummerer.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Bush of Tiffin; sons, Daniel R. (Billie Jo) Bush Jr. of Chatfield and Eric D. (Stephanie) Bush of Tiffin; brother, David E. Bush of Tiffin; and sister, Melanie Reinhart of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Daniel was a 1963 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. After high school, he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Ohio American Water Company, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, liked to listen to Do-wop music, was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Michigan football and loved his dogs, Zena and Riko and his cat, Gracie.

His Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens with military honors being conducted by United Veterans Council.

Friends may visit with family from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
