Daniel Cahill Obituary
Daniel Louis "Danny" Cahill, 68, of Canton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Canton.
He was born Nov. 5, 1955, in Tiffin, to Charles Cahill and Marjorie (Weaver) Cahill.
Danny is survived by his son, Daniel C. (Wendy) Cahill; daughter, Traci Cahill; granddaughters, Cayelee, Kennedy, Kirsten, and Riley; great-granddaughter, Kingsley; and siblings, Kenneth (Christina) Cahill, Kathy (Tom) Courtney, and twin brother Donald (Julie) Cahill.
Danny was a 1976 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. He worked for Whirlpool in Findlay and then for AT&T as a lineman from where he retired.
Danny enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle for many years and was a member of Sandusky Valley Riders. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He loved being outdoors and often spent time with friends sitting and talking on his porch. He loved his dog, Dixie. She would always be following right behind him. He was a member of Tiffin Eagles and Tiffin Moose Lodge.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl (Eddie); and sister, Marcia Liggett.
Danny's celebration of life will be at a later date.

I worked with Danny at At&t. Whenever we had a work luncheon he always prayed before the lunch & kept a small bible in his truck. Hard exterior but one of the good ones. So sorry to the family for your loss but know Dan made it thru the gates of heaven.

I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with Dan at AT&T in Solon. He was such a nice guy, always helpful and pleasant. I helped him find his Dixie when was ready for another dog. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Danny did a service call on our phone line outside under the creek and it worked great after that.
