David Andrews Obituary

David K. "Dave" Andrews Jr.

David K. Andrews Jr., 54, of Tiffin, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation, Green Springs.

He was born July 19, 1969, in Norwalk, to David and Shirley Andrews.

David is survived by his daughters, Taryn Andrews of Marion and Hailee Andrews of Findlay; three grandchildren, Liam, Sebastian, and Alani; life partner, Sandy Rybicki of Tiffin; closest sister, Lela (Ken) Gaietto of Tiffin; three sisters; one brother; three nephews; and beloved dog, Sammy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Rick and Ron.

Dave worked as an occupational health and safety director at Ameriwood Industries for many years, where he earned the nickname "Safety Dave." In his free time, he loved gardening, building things in his workshop, keeping up with BattleBots, and spending time with his family.

In honor of his wishes, there will be no funeral at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Civil War Museum, 217 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting family with arrangements.
