David A. Bihn

David A. Bihn, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

He was born June 15, 1939, in Tiffin, to Albert J. and Helen (Becker) Bihn. He married Lois Herbert on April 20, 1968.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Bihn of Tiffin; sons, Anthony David (Heather) Bihn of Lansing, Michgian, and Thomas Joseph Bihn of Norwalk; and granddaughter, Emily.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert J. Bihn Jr.; and sister, Mary Kovosckitz.

David grew up on a farm and was a 1957 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. After high school, he served in U.S Army and was honorably discharged in 1961. He retired from National Machinery where he was a member of Quarter Century Club and was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. David was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed traveling, was interested in the weather, and loved animals, especially cats.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors being conducted by United Veterans Council.
