David Ruffing Obituary
David F. Ruffing, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 15, 2022, surrounded by family at Kindred Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
He was born Nov. 27, 1948, in Tiffin, to Francis and Doris (O'Connell) Ruffing, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Ryan, and partner, Christy, of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Jarod and Alexis; one great-grandson; five siblings, Tom (Barbara deceased) Orwig, Karen (Richard) Cramer, Jerry (Susan) Ruffing, Sharon (Ed) Murphy, and Ron (Nancy) Ruffing; five nieces; three nephews; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He graduated from Calvert High School and was a self-employed painter. He was an avid sports fan. He loved Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians. David enjoyed time spent with his friends and family.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

To all the Ruffing Family, I'm sending my sympathy in the loss of yet another Ruffing sibling. I have such fond memories of all of our family ties when we are growing up. I always visit your parent's gravesites when I visit my parent's graves at St. Mary's Cemetery. Love to you all.
