Deborah A. "Deb" Seitz

Deborah A. "Deb" Seitz, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic.

She was born Sept. 26, 1952, in Tiffin to Carl and Rosemary (Hoerig) Lofay. On July 08, 1972, she married Michael "Mike" Seitz.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Seitz of Tiffin; daughters, Penny (Scott) Boyd of Clyde, Kellie (Michael) Satterfield, Samantha (Keith) Runion and Sabrina (Brett) Matthews, all of Tiffin; sister, Carla (Jeff) Lust of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Joe Lofay, Bruce Lofay, Donny Lofay and Denny Lofay.

Deb was a 1970 graduate of Calvert High School. She started her career as a nurse's aide at Mercy Hospital and then to unit surgical secretary, retiring after 45 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus No. 608. Deb enjoyed Allen Eiry trips, vacationing at Lake Hope for years, drumming, and hanging out with her friends at Best Break, where she was lead drummer, and she loved her dog, Milo. Family was very important to Deb, she loved going to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's events, loved taking walks with them and loved spending time with them.

Her funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Friends may visit the family from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
