Debra S. Davis

Debra S. Davis, age 70 of rural Sycamore, Ohio died at 10:57 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky. She was born December 6, 1954, in Upper Sandusky, to Robert W. and Dolores A. (Nusbaum) Holman. She married Richard Davis on December 9, 1973, and he survives her.

Surviving are two sisters, Beverly (Gene) Brause, rural Sycamore and Connie (Kenny Pauley) Brause, rural Sycamore; and one brother, Chuck (Christy) Holman, rural Sycamore. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Brause; and her parents.

Debra started working at McDonald's after high school, then met her husband, and they ran a root beer trailer that traveled all over the state of Ohio, attending festivals, carnivals, and county fairs. Then, later in life, she worked at Benton General Store with her sister.

Debra was a 1973 graduate of Mohawk High School. For hobbies, she loved to sew and did a lot of sewing for friends and neighbors. In the area. She loved to babysit her nieces and nephews, go traveling to Amish and flea markets in the area.

Funeral service for Debra will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery, Crawford County. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the funeral home.
