Dennis Bowling Obituary
Dennis A. Bowling, 77, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023, at Bellevue Care Center.
Dennis was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Fremont, to Clarabell (Baker) Rathbun and Raleigh Bowling. He married Judith (Sherman) on May 5, 1996, in Green Springs, and she preceded him in death Jan. 13, 2020.
Dennis' survivors include his daughter, Tasha (Lonny) Caswell of Willowick; stepdaughter, Misty (Chad Ramirez) Sherman of Tiffin; four grandchildren and brother, Lonnie (Ike) Bowling of Fremont.
Dennis retired from Fremont City Schools as a custodian. He was a member of Old Fort United Methodist Church. Dennis was an U.S. Army veteran, serving during Vietnam.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Judith.
Dennis' funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Military rites will be rendered by United Veterans Council. There will be no burial at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Veterans Council or Stein Hospice.
