Donald Bennett Obituary
Donald Bennett, 89, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.
Donald was born Jan. 5, 1934, in Tiffin, to Donald W. and Kathryn (Fought) Bennett Sr., who preceded him in death. He married Madonna (Wyss) Bennett and she survives in Tiffin.
Donald's survivors also include his children, Steven (Karen) Bennett of Colorado, Tanya (Michael) Ward of North Carolina, Donna Bennett of Fremont, Diana (Mike) Perry of Fremont, Deb (Tim) Yandura of Tiffin, and Monica (Steve) Diaz of Fremont; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter on the way.
Donald was a well-known barber who proudly owned and operated his own barber shop in Fremont for 15 years. His favorite hobbies included fishing, searching for antiques and old sports memorabilia, collecting guns, admiring old cars, and meeting his friends for breakfast at McDonald's.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, until the time of Donald's funeral at 12 p.m. at Truth Baptist Church, Tiffin. Burial at Fairmont Cemetery will follow immediately after the funeral.
Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Truth Baptist Church, Tiffin.
