Donald G. "Don" Cramer

Donald G. "Don" Cramer, 91, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at The Willows at Tiffin.

He was born April 21, 1933, in Belle Center to Clyde and Elizabeth (Liller) Cramer. On June 01, 1953, he married Cora "Helen" Osborn and she preceded him in death in 2013.

Survivors include his sons, Rex (Chris) Cramer and Rod (Barb) Cramer, both of Tiffin; daughter, Camela (Jeff Hopkins) Cramer-Riehm of Old Fort; grandchildren, Nathan Dieter, Joshua Dieter, Mark Cramer, Allison Ranker and Annette Cramer; great grandchildren, Paige, Zachary, Val, Olivia, Hudson, Harper, Emerson and Ava; and very close friend, Mary Lou Hohman.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul Cramer, Harley Cramer, Charles Cramer and Leo Harpel; and one grandson, Matthew Cramer.

Don graduated in 1952 from Kenton High School and served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He retired after 36 years, as a mechanic, from Standard Oil and BP. After retiring, he drove for Coppus Motors. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and past trustee at Washington Street United Methodist Church. Don was a private pilot for years, enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast, fishing, camping and traveling around the United States.

His funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2025, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort.

Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
