Donna Jean Willman
Donna Jean Willman, 81, of St. Stephen, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at her residence.
She was born March 1, 1943, in Tiffin to Louis and Protase (House) Walliser. On July 31, 1965, she married Robert A. Willman at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin. He preceded her in death Dec. 28, 2013.
She is survived by her children, Glenna (Brice) Bowman of Newark, Ohio, Sheila Willman of Columbus, Ohio, Timothy Willman of St. Stephen, Ohio, Angela (Chaz) Boes of Tiffin, Ohio, and Juliene (Nick) Huston of Tiffin, Ohio. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Matthew (Alex Herrera) Bowman, Natalie (Andy) Kaser, Valerie Bowman, Elizabeth Bowman, Andrew (Kelcey) Willman, Shawn (Ashley) Willman, Alec Boes, Jordan Boes, Cecilia Huston, and Lilian Huston; as well as four great-grandchildren, Benjamin Willman, Harrison Willman, Henry Kaser, and Liam Kaser; a sister, Patricia (Chuck) Schreiner of Wadsworth, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Alice Willman of Shelby, Ohio, survive. Special family member, Joseph Omlor of St. Stephen, Ohio also survives; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Richard Walliser, Lucille (Lee) Kerschner, Clarence "Skip" (Marilyn) Walliser, Maryann (Gene) Kerschner (Harry) McCue; brother-in-law, George Willman; and sister-in-law, Mary Teresa (Cliff) Burns.
Donna Jean was a graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and beauty school in Toledo. She worked first as a beautician in Tiffin, was a homemaker while her children were young, and later worked and retired from Seneca Tiles Inc. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and formerly St. Stephen Catholic Church. A devout Catholic and woman of deep faith, she also served as the Coordinator of Religious Education for the SAPP cluster and volunteered in many different ministry positions within her church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, watching Hallmark movies, and getting her nails done. Donna Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was blessed to have many friends in life. She truly will be missed for her contributions to her community and her faith.
Visitation for friends will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, Ohio, 44807, with a wake service to start at 7:30 p.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 320 Stump Pike Rd., Attica, with Fr. Joseph P. Joseph and Fr. Paul Fahrback concelebrating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow Mass at St. Stephen Cemetery.
