Donnie Fitzpatrick Obituary
Donnie N. Fitzpatrick, 79, of Tiffin, passed away at 6:06 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at his residence.
Donnie was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Akron, to the late Reginald and Julia (Kilgore) Boltz. He married Julie (McBrien-Fox) on Sept. 13, 2000, in Diamond Caverns, Kentucky, and she survives in Tiffin.
Donnie is also survived by his children, Perry Fitzpatrick and Frank Fitzpatrick, both of Michigan, and Michael Fitzpatrick and Matthew Fitzpatrick, both of Bettsville; two stepchildren, Jill (Philip) Reuter and Fred Carter, both of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; two stepgreat-granddaughters; and brother, David Fitzpatrick of Tiffin.
Donnie worked as a carpenter and laborer and enjoyed showing Gladiolus flowers in competition. He was a 1962 graduate from Bettsville High School and U.S. Army veteran who served two tours in Vietnam.
There will be no funeral for Donnie at this time.
Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.

I worked with Don and he was an amazing worker. He loved 1 certain desk at work and I always made sure he had it. His gladiolus were absolutely gorgeous. I will miss him dearly.

To Julie and the Fitzpatrick Family
I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of .Don. Although I had only met him once I knew his wife and children well and I knew how happy they all were and that´s all I needed to know. My deepest sympathy to Julie, his children, her children and all family and friends. Will be praying for you all.
