Douglas B. "Doug" Bouillon

Douglas B. "Doug" Bouillon, 60, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, March 21, 2023, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.

He was born Jan. 6, 1963, in Fostoria, to the late Bernard J. "Bernie" and Mary Catherine "Kate" (Frey) Bouillon. He married Linda E. Boes on March 9, 2022, in Tiffin, and she survives in Tiffin.

Doug is also survived by his children, Tara (Brad) Robinson of Kenton, Karis (Tony Lupica) Schwochow of Findlay, Douglas J. (Linda M.) Bouillon of Canal Winchester, and Shaina Bouillon of Tiffin; bonus son, Thomas (Sarah) Baker of Tiffin; grandchildren, Daylin and Harper Robinson, Leighton Schwochow, Landon and Treyton Bouillon; bonus grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christopher Taylor, and Levi and Owen Baker; brothers, Michael and Dan Bouillon, both of Fostoria; sisters, Catherine Bouillon of Fostoria, Trish (Dave) Kramb of Tennessee, Nan (Tim) Kimmet of New Riegel, and Jean Lonsway of Carey; and granddog, Homer, who he enjoyed dearly.

Doug was a facilities coordinator at Taiho Corp. of America, Tiffin, since 1996, where he was a dedicated and loyal employee. He also operated Doug's Sandblasting and Painting. Doug enlisted in 1984 in Ohio National Guard after his graduation from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1981.

If Doug ever befriended you, you had a friend for life. His favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren and gifting them with the most sentimental gifts. He enjoyed barbecuing and was known for his secret barbecue sauce.

Doug's celebration of life visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Doug's service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery, Fostoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family's choice in care of the funeral home.
