Douglas A. "Doug" Stewart, 54, of Hillsdale, Michigan, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023, at his home.
He was born March 6, 1969, in Tiffin, the son of Donald R. and Kathleen (Vogel) Stewart.
Doug served in U.S. Navy from 1991 until his honorable discharge in 1996.
Doug is survived by his parents; son, Douglas A. Stewart Jr. of Bellevue; daughters, Angel Stewart of Fremont, Jamie R. Stewart of Kansas, and Jenna Stewart of Hillsdale; 10 grandchildren; brother, Michael R. Stewart of Oregon; and sister, Amy Walter of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Joseph A. Vogel; and grandparents, Ralph and Ida Stewart.
Doug's memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, at Kansas United Methodist Church, 5928 W. State Route 635, Kansas, Ohio, 44841.
Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue, is assisting with arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
