Duane McQuistion Obituary
Duane Allen McQuistion passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the age of 66, in Republic. Born December 19, 1958, Duane dedicated 27 years of service to the Tiffin Developmental Center, where he made significant contributions through his commitment and hard work.
An avid outdoorsman, Duane enjoyed fishing and hunting, passions that brought him great joy and peace throughout his life.
Duane is survived by his son, Derek McQuistion and Kenneth (Mellissa) Taylor; grandchildren, Donald, Payton, Landon, and Willow; and siblings Terry, Dave, Marla, and Karen.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin and Marty.
A private service will be at a later date to honor Duane's life and legacy.

I worked many years with Duane, he had the loudest voice and I always told him, seriously inside voice. He would be so tough but down deep he would help anyone. Rest in peace my friend

I worked with Duane for several years at TDC and then worked together again at the Seneca County Commission on Aging. He regularly baked goodies or other delicious food items to bring in for staff. His hearty laugh and ornery smile made everyone's day! Heartfelt sympathy to your family.
