Dustin Mathias Obituary
Dustin H. Mathias, 51, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at his home.
He was born July 27, 1972, in Tiffin, to Nelson and Nancie (Haugh) Mathias. He married Kisha Carver on Oct. 2021, and she preceded him in death Feb. 4, 2023.
He is survived by his mother, Nancie J. Metzger of Carey; son, Brant Mathias of Upper Sandusky; daughter, Kailey Mathias of Tiffin; brothers, Andrew Mathias of Bucyrus, Corey (Gracie) Mathias of Texas, and Greg (Crystal) Mathias of Bloomville; sister, Rene (Robert) Meyer of Fostoria; grandson, Dominik Mathias; 12 nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and great-nephews; stepmother, Beverly Mathias of Warsaw, Indiana; cat, Frankie; and dog, Hemi.
He was preceded in death by his wife; father, Nelson Mathias; and stepfather, John Metzger.
Dustin graduated in 1991 from Warsaw High School in Indiana and proudly served in U.S. Marine Corps. He worked at Webster Industries for years, Keller Welding and Towing, and B&M Machine and Fabrication in New Riegel. Dustin enjoyed building and riding his Harley Davidson, especially to the lake with his wife, Kisha. He was a member of New Riegel Moose.
Dustin's celebration of life will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at Sauber's Stumble Inn, 5921 W. Tiffin St., Bascom.
Memorial contributions may be made to Seneca County Humane Society.
