Edward Lee "Ed" Sours

Edward Lee "Ed" Sours, 60, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at St. Vincent Medical Center - Mercy Health, Toledo.

He was born March 30, 1962, in Tiffin, to Robert and Marjorie (Miller) Sours. He married Dianne Wasserman on April 25, 1992, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Millersville, and she survives in Tiffin.

Also surviving is his mother, Marjorie Sours of Tiffin; four children, Theresa (Jason) Kimmet of New Riegel, David (Gidge) Sours of Fostoria, Joseph Sours of Tiffin, and Megan Sours of Tiffin; grandchildren, Kaelyn, Leah, Emma, and Josie; brother, Roger (Evalina) Sours of Tiffin; and mother-in-law, Anita Wasserman of Helena. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sours; father-in-law, LeRoy Wasserman; and brother-in-law, David Wasserman.

Ed was a 1980 graduate of Columbian High School, Tiffin, and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tiffin. He worked at St. Francis Home, Tiffin, for over 40 years, first in maintenance and later in environmental services. Ed was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed being outdoors especially for Friday night campfires. He also enjoyed classic cars, old western movies, and spending time with his family.

There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
