Frances Keiffer Obituary

Frances Louise Keiffer

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Frances Louise (Chapman) Keiffer, 94, of Fostoria, who went to join her beloved husband, Carl Keiffer, and their two sons, Charlie and Ed Keiffer, Sunday, June 1, 2025. Surviving are children, Carol (Bill) Watson of Fostoria, Peggy (Steve) Gebauer of Fostoria, Pat (Dennis) Hogan of Tiffi, Robyn Meadows of Gulf Shores, Alabama, David (Darlene) of Kentucky, Julie (Dave) Goodrick of North Canton, and Jan (Miles) Reinhard of Bloomdale. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Frances has a surviving brother, Walter Chapman; and four sisters; and six brothers who have previously passed.

Although we mourn her loss, we are also filled with a deep sense of gratitude that she passed peacefully with her family by her side. Frances spent her last 10 years at the Independence House nursing home in Fostoria, and we are eternally grateful for the compassionate care she received there. She was a homemaker and loved crafting, camping and spending time with her family. Frances was loved by many, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Funeral services & burial will be private. Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, is handling local arrangements.
