Gary Fatzinger

Gary Allen Fatzinger, 77, of Wooster, died Saturday, August 16, 2025, at his home. He was born February 16, 1948, in Tiffin, to Harold and Ruth Reed Fatzinger. On June 21, 1968, he married Brenda Garrett and she survives. Gary is also survived by his sons, Jody (Carol) Howard, Jerome (Heidi) Fatzinger and Jeremy (Tish) Fatzinger; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; siblings, Diane Morgan, Sandy Crum and David (Darlene) Fatzinger.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Delores; sister, Pam Lewellen; brothers-in-law, J.P. Morgan and Ron Crum.

Gary retired from CenturyLink. He had also been owner and operator of Fatzinger's SOHIO station in Sycamore for many years. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to Ida Sue School, 266 Oldman Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
