Gary Tyree Obituary
Gary "Dexter" Tyree, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Dexter was born Feb. 3, 1948, in Crown, Kentucky, to the late Local and Dorothy (Williams) Tyree.
Dexter's survivors include his children, Gary E. Tyree of Tiffin and Wanda Tyree of Findlay; granddaughter, Morgan E. Tyree; two brothers, Larry Delbert Tyree of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Daniel Darlis Williams of Riddlesburg, Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Phyllis Yvonne Tyree Knott and Priscilla "Carol" Tyree Whitaker, both of Tiffin.
Dexter retired from Clyde Whirlpool. He was a member of Sons of Amvets and Stars and Bars 4X4 club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards. Dexter was a 1967 graduate of Columbian High School.
Dexter was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Connor D. Tyree.
Dexter's celebration of life will be 12 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Amvets, Tiffin.
Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
