Gene Brengartner Obituary
Gene Paul Brengartner, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Gene was born July 20, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan. He married Angela (Ritter) on June 21, 1997, in Kirby, and she survives in Tiffin.
Gene's other survivors include his children, Ricky Brengartner of Florida, Penny Prater of Kentucky, and Scott Brengartner, Gina Brengartner, and Suzanne Brengartner, all of Tiffin; and numerous grandchildren.
Gene was a jack of all trades. He was involved with the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed playing games with his family, hunting and fishing, and setting up a booth at the flea markets. Gene was an U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Cold War.
Gene's celebration of life will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. There will be no burial at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
