George A. Briihl

George A. Briihl, 81, of North Royalton, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice of South West General Hospital.

George was born March 24, 1941, in Tiffin, to the late George Gentry and Evelyn (Shaffer) Briihl. He married Margaret (Meder) on Sept. 4, 1965, in Cleveland, and she preceded him in death Aug. 6, 2004.

George's survivors include his children, Anne (Greg Hagerty) Briihl of Tiffin, Mary Kay (Robert) Aleksandrovic of Bay Village, and Brad Briihl of Columbus; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, James (Dorothy) Briihl of Pennsylvania; sister, Ann Foltz of Tiffin; and companion, Carolyn DeVinney of North Royalton.

George worked in vending and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a 1959 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He was a member of Tiffin Eagles and AmVets and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes football fan.

George was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Sue Ruhlen.

There will be a graveside service for George at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors being rendered by United Veterans Council.

Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
